Traci Gundlach, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner in general cardiology. She cares for people with a wide range of medical conditions involving the heart and blood vessels. These issues include coronary artery disease (plaque buildup in the arteries), atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat), heart failure (the heart can't pump enough blood) and valve disorders (the heart valves don't open or close properly). When patients visit the general cardiology clinic, Traci listens to their concerns and assesses their symptoms. She talks with her patients about their goals and lifestyles. Together, they create effective care plans that patients are willing to follow. Traci works to help each patient live the highest possible quality of life.
