Sarah Smith, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner. Sarah sees patients for a broad spectrum of general surgical concerns, including superficial skin diseases such as abscesses, cysts, lipomas (benign tumors made of fat cells) and other skin lesions. She also treats those with benign rectal conditions such as anal fissures (small tears), hemorrhoids and other problems. Sarah specializes in assisting with minimally invasive surgery to treat a variety of digestive system conditions.
