Olivia Dittman, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner who specializes in thoracic (chest and lung) surgery. Olivia evaluates and treats patients who need surgery for conditions affecting the lungs, diaphragm and other parts of the chest. These range from rib malformations, lung diseases and respiratory diseases to esophageal cancer, lung cancer and other cancers that occur in the chest area. Olivia works closely with surgeons and other specialists to care for patients before and after surgery. She listens to her patients' personal concerns and goals for treatment. She encourages shared decision-making as she develops individualized care plans.
