Nurse Practitioner Joy Hessel has an upbeat, positive attitude that she brings to her job at Lake Hallie Center. Her goal is simple: Joy likes to bring joy to patients, promote a smile and steer them toward a healthier life. “I enjoy working with individuals of all ages,” Joy said. “Family practice allows me to care for infants to geriatric patients and focus on prevention and management of acute and chronic conditions.” After working at the Cadott Center for nearly six years, Joy is now closer to home as she’s lived in rural Chippewa Falls her entire life. Coming from a rural community, Joy can relate to her patients and knows the resources available to assist in health promotion.
