I have always lived in southeastern Wisconsin and this is also where I began my healthcare career. My family and I enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors. In my spare time I enjoy reading. Part of my role as a Nurse Practitioner is to serve as an educator to my patients. If I can create an environment that my patients feel comfortable to ask questions, I can be a resource for them. I strongly believe that one's own healthcare is best when a patient feels educated regarding their care. When the necessary teaching and resources are provided, a patient can truly take control of their own healthcare. When an individual is in control of their own healthcare, outcomes are more positive.
