Janet Burns, APNP, is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with Ascension Medical Group. Ms. Burns is board-certified in psychiatric mental health and provides care to ages 14 and up who struggle with anxiety, depression, PTSD, self harm, suicidal thoughts and addiction. "I have a passion for patient care which has driven my desire for advanced practice nursing care. As a descendant of individuals that struggled with mental health issues, I feel it is my responsibility to extend professional care to this population." Outside of the office, Ms. Burns enjoys mentoring, flower gardening and landscaping and has love for her pets.
