Colleen Trevino completed her PhD in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 2011. The title of her dissertation is Determining the Predictors of Chronic Pain in Traumatically Injured Hospitalized Patients and her research interests include acute and chronic pain development and management as well as trauma and acute care surgery My interest and expertise includes care of emergency general surgical diseases, complex surgical wounds, intestinal fistula management, and acute pain management. I am dedicated to providing comprehensive collaborative patient care throughout the continuum of health and illness.
