Brianna Schumacher, NP, is a UW Health Kids nurse practitioner specializing in pediatric otolaryngology. Brianna cares for infants, children and teens with ear, nose and throat (ENT) disorders. Working closely with surgeons, Brianna ensures that patients receive comprehensive care. She diagnoses and treats conditions such as ear infections, blocked nasal passages and snoring. As part of a multispecialty craniofacial clinic team, Brianna evaluates children with conditions such as cleft lip and cleft palate. She's also a lactation counselor, with expertise in birth defects that affect breastfeeding. Brianna performs procedures such as tongue-tie releases in newborns, ear cleanings and nasal endoscopy.
