Anne Schmitz, NP, is a UW Health family nurse practitioner. She provides primary health care for patients of all ages, from newborns to elderly patients. She diagnoses and treats a wide variety of symptoms and conditions in patients of all ages. These can range from sudden illnesses and injuries such as coughs, fevers and pain to chronic diseases such as asthma, arthritis and diabetes. Anne also offers personalized education and preventive care, health and wellness checks, routine screenings and physical exams. As a certified lactation counselor, Anne has a special clinical interest in helping individuals who are having difficulty breastfeeding their babies.
