Anna Purdy, RN, MSN, APNP, joined the Department of Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1990. She graduated from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1987 and completed the Adult Nurse Practitioner Program at Marquette University, receiving a Master of Science in Nursing in 1999. Anna’s practice includes breast oncology, in which she sees patients with both malignant and benign diseases in the outpatient setting. I have been a nurse practitioner in the area of breast care since 1999. Prior to 1999, I was the nurse manager of the Breast Care Center involved in various clinical and community outreach projects, breast cancer regarding breast cancer screening and breast cancer research.
