Alison Jayme, NP

Alison Jayme, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner in general surgery. Alison cares for patients who are having same-day surgery for a range of conditions, including abdominal and gastrointestinal (GI) disorders. Most of her patients are having emergency surgery for conditions such as appendicitis, gallbladder disease or bowel disorders. As part of the general surgery team, Alison collaborates with specialists to provide individualized care. Her role includes advanced wound care. She also performs specialized ostomy care for abdominal stomas (surgically created openings in the abdomen for waste removal). She also surgically removes cysts, lipomas and foreign objects.
