Sandra “Jean” Wheaton is a nurse practitioner who specializes in palliative care. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing from University of Nevada, Reno. “I believe I relate to people in their greatest time of need based on my own experience with personal loss of loved ones. That, combined with my professional experience of diagnosing and treating patients in multiple arenas allows me to effectively work with and treat patients who benefit from palliative care. Away from work, Jean enjoys working outdoors with plants, flowers, vegetables and natural landscape. When indoors, she enjoys sewing, cooking and having family and friends over for food and fun.
