Rachel Penney, ARNP, specializes in family medicine, including pediatric and adolescent care, preventive medicine, palliative care, urgent care and women's health. Rachel focuses on seeing her patients as individuals rather than medical conditions. She enjoys discovering what motivates them and stresses shared decision-making so that a patient's treatment plan fits positively with their goals and lifestyle. She makes a point to learn about her patients’ support networks, drawing on those relationships so patients have the encouragement and assistance they need in the clinic and at home. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Rachel was an oncology nurse.
