We welcomed Lindsay Nelson, ARNP, to the PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center Palliative Care team of providers in 2019. Lindsay comes to PeaceHealth from Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, where she practiced as a hospital-based palliative care nurse practitioner for the past five years. Lindsay puts a special emphasis on fostering a patient-centered approach to medical care and supporting and mentoring non-specialist clinicians in developing a palliative approach to patient care. Lindsay likes to find integrative approaches to relieve suffering. “I work to provide whole-person care to patients and families with serious, life-limiting illness.
