Desiree Huntley, ARNP, FNP-C, joined the PeaceHealth Medical Group Sedro-Woolley Family Medicine team of providers in September 2018. After spending a long career caring for hospitalized patients with acute illnesses, Desiree has a great appreciation for health promotion and preventive care for all ages. Desiree is no stranger to PeaceHealth. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she spent 20 years in various roles at PeaceHealth United General Medical Center, starting as a hospital volunteer at the young age of 16. She most recently served nurse as manager of the Surgical Services department, where she was responsible for safe, effective and patient-family-centered care. “I care deeply about the health of our community.
