We welcomed Alicia Morrison, MSN, FNP-BC, to the PeaceHealth Medical Group Endocrinology team of providers in 2020. Alicia comes to PeaceHealth from Evergreen Family Medicine in Roseburg, Oregon, where she practiced as a nurse practitioner and diabetes specialist. Alicia takes a special interest in type 1 and Type 2 diabetes mellitus, prevention of end-organ complications, emerging diabetes technology, and diabetes distress. She is passionate about promoting diabetes self-management skills, health literacy,y and prevention of complications. “I aim to provide holistic, individualized, and cost-effective care through relevant education, productive communication, and shared decision-making," she said.
