Lauren Backy

About

Lauren Backy is a Virginia native and a board certified Women’s Health Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife. She completed her undergraduate education at James Madison University and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Lauren completed her graduate work at Georgetown University in 2014 with a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Women’s Health and Midwifery. She has been board certified in Women’s Health and Midwifery since February 2015. Lauren’s training has prepared her to support women’s healthcare needs throughout the lifespan. She has special interests in adolescent health and pregnancy, heart health, breastfeeding, and low intervention labor and delivery.
