Heather Kavanagh is a family nurse practitioner at Inova Primary Care - Purcellville. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Heather was an intensive care nurse with UVA Health System and with Inova Loudoun Hospital. Heather's clinical areas of interest include family medicine, hospital medicine and community health. She treats her patients as if they were family members and provides care how she would prefer to be cared for as a patient. Her goal for patient care includes helping patients understand the importance of prevention, management of chronic health conditions and involvement in their own care.
