G Anders Sylvester-Johnson, N.P., is a native of Louisville, KY with a strong faith background. He began as a Paramedic, then pursued nursing, gaining experience in various healthcare settings. As Clinical Manager, Director of Programs, and Chief Operations Officer at Roanoke Rescue Mission, he developed a passion for helping the homeless and those with substance use disorders. Recently, he earned a Masters in the Science of Nursing (FNP-BC) from Old Dominion University and now works in Carilion's Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine department, focusing on addiction medicine. In his free time, he enjoys audiobooks, attending church, and spending time with loved ones.
