Scott Summers has always loved science and helping people, and becoming a nurse practitioner allows him to do both. He enjoys being able to make a difference in the lives of others whether it’s helping teach first aid at his children’s school or empowering patients to live healthier lives. Scott grew up in Idaho working on potato farms and went to Idaho State University. Following his university studies, he worked at a trauma intensive care unit. He then continued his medical training in Utah where he was valedictorian of Brigham Young University’s Nurse Practitioner program.
