Rex Heaton, FNP-C had experienced the healthcare system as a child that helped foster an interest in medicine. Rex has also always loved helping others. Combining his love of helping others and his interest in medicine was a very easy decision for his career. Rex received an undergraduate degree and later a master’s degree in nursing at the University of Utah. He is certified as a registered nurse in Arizona and Utah and he specializes in wound care and occupational medicine. Some of Rex’s favorite parts of his job are getting to know his patients and using the skills he has developed to help his patients become healthy.
