Rebecca Marie Valek, FNP

About

Rebecca Valek is a board-certified family nurse practitioner in the Greater Austin area. She specializes in family medicine and sees patients of all ages. She is especially interested in mental health and the medical treatment of obesity. During her training, Rebecca had the opportunity to work with patients in cardiac care at a Level I trauma hospital. Following her initial certification as a nurse practitioner, she got further experience in the urgent care setting. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In her free time, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her dogs, reading, crafts and spending time in nature. She also engages in a daily practice of spirituality and strives to implement healthy habits into her day.
