Punnam Stephan is a certified family nurse practitioner who provides internal medicine care in North Rowlett. She believes that preventive care is the key to longevity and finds satisfaction in teaching patients about their health, which empowers them to care for themselves. When caring for patients, Punnam approaches them as a whole person instead of a medical issue. She loves getting to know her patients so she can partner with them in their care in a way that enhances their quality of life. Most of all, Punnam loves it when a patient comes back with a success story or a resolution of the problem that brought them in. It also makes her day to hear that someone she cared for sent their friends and family to her as patients.
