Laura Barnes, FNP

About

Laura Barnes, FNP, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a particular interest in global healthcare and foster care and sees pediatric patients in the Central Texas Region. She is a member of the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Association, the Christian Medical Dental Association and is an associate member of the American College of Pediatricians. She is certified as a family nurse practitioner (FNP) by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. Much of Laura's nursing background has been in emergency care, but she has a passion for children and their families. She grew up in West Africa and has lived and worked internationally. Laura believes that parents play an active role in decisions of care.
