Joy Michele Prater, PNP

About

Michele Prater, CPNP, is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner specializing in pediatric pulmonology, with an interest in asthma, cystic fibrosis, bronchopulmonary dysplasia and neuromuscular lung disorders. She is the coordinator for the Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Clinic at McLane Children's Medical Center. She has been with Baylor Scott & White since 1989, all of those years being spent in pediatrics. She joined the pediatric pulmonology section in 2000 and found a love for working with children diagnosed with pulmonary disease. When not working, Michele spends time with family, travelling, sewing and reading.
