I was born and raised in the Mississippi Delta, where I lived until 2017. As a small town girl, I decided to branch out and explore new things by moving to Memphis, Tennessee to further my career. I only speak English, although I would love to learn other languages in the future. Growing up, my grandmother suffered from seizures. We later learned these were brought on by a brain tumor. I would often care for her, learning along the way how to recognize the early signs of a seizure. It was this care the inspired me to pursue a career in the medical field in hopes I could make a difference in other people’s lives.
