CERTIFICATION Family Nurse Practitioner - Certified with American Nurses Credentialing Center Brooks completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Texas Christian University (TCU) in 2015. After graduation he began working as a nurse on an oncology, hospice and medical surgical unit for two years, winning two awards along the way. He then became a travel nurse and worked on renal, limb preservation, surgical oncology, and medical surgical units for a year. After those three years, Brooks became a nurse on a renal and medical surgical unit, for two years, while going to school to complete his Masters of Science at Clemson University in 2020. He joined MMC in 2021.
