Veronica Smalheiser, a board-certified adult nurse practitioner with widely ranging experience, came to Beaufort Memorial Lowcountry Medical Group in 2015. At the practice she specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness. In addition, she operates a Botox clinic for cosmetic services. Mrs. Smalheiser, who holds additional certification as both an adult-gerontology and a cardiovascular nurse practitioner and a critical care nurse, includes among her professional interests gerontology and the management of cardiovascular disease. Mrs. Smalheiser began her nursing career in 2007 in the Coronary Care Unit at University of Florida Health in Jacksonville.
