With the dream of retiring on the Carolina coast, Marianne Hagood and husband Mark decided to make the move early and purchased a home in Seabrook. Shortly after relocating to the Lowcountry in the fall of 2018, Mrs. Hagood joined the staff of Beaufort Memorial Express Care and Occupational Health. A board-certified family nurse practitioner since 2014, Mrs. Hagood previously worked in a busy primary care clinic near Richmond, Virginia, diagnosing and treating patients with acute and chronic illnesses. Prior to that, she was a registered nurse for six years at Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg, Virginia, where she worked in the oncology/medical-surgical unit, postpartum unit and nursery unit.
