As part of the team at Beaufort Memorial Oncology Specialists, board-certified family nurse practitioner Lindsay Gamble brings a diverse background in infusion therapy, and critical and palliative care to the New River Cancer Center in Okatie, where she will see medical oncology and hematology patients before, during and after treatment; manage chemotherapy infusions and education; recommend, facilitate and interpret laboratory testing; and order imaging. Areas of Expertise - Infusion Therapy – A method of delivering fluids, such as cancer drugs (chemotherapy) and other medications, directly into the bloodstream often using an IV.
