A certified adult nurse practitioner, Jennifer Martin came to Beaufort Memorial Lowcountry Medical Group as a nurse practitioner in 2007. Among her professional interests are educating patients about disease prevention and management and involving a patient's family in his or her care. Mrs. Martin's nurse practitioner career, which began in 2001, earlier included work in Beaufort Memorial's Emergency Department and at Doctors Care. Away from her work and community activities, she, her husband, Bud, and their two sons enjoy being outdoors, exercise, reading, snow skiing and attending church. My goal is to engage patients in their own health.
