Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I started my career in health care as a bedside nurse where I worked in an ICU setting for many years. I decided to go back to school to become a nurse practitioner when I realized how important the role of an NP really is. As a nurse practitioner, I strive to promote an environment that focuses on the prevention of disease and the promotion of health. My passion is to help educate woman to attain their fullest potential in life through taking control of their health, even from a very young age. I enjoy helping others achieve success and then celebrating in that success with them.
