Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I have known since the time I was very young that I wanted to pursue medicine. Growing up, I felt a strong sense of satisfaction when I was able to take care of my younger siblings when they were sick, or nurse a scrawny little kitten back to health. I knew early on that it was my purpose in life to help bring health and healing to others. As a Lancaster County native, I consider it a privilege to serve my own community, and surrounding communities, as a medical provider! What I want my patients to know about me: I love women's health! My first nursing job was a labor and delivery nurse.
