Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: As a nurse, I loved taking care of and interacting with patients. Working in a hospital, I discovered many patients need help in managing their chronic conditions. I believe preventative care is also an important aspect of health, and that getting to know a patient and what affects their health, whether physical or emotional, can allow for better health outcomes. As a nurse practitioner, I can help patients with all of these aspects on a deeper level, and I can help them achieve their best health. What I want my patients to know about me: I love learning new things, especially regarding healthcare and medicine. I also love educating myself and my patients because it promotes better health.
