About

Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I wanted to work in the medical field since childhood. When I came to the U.S., I enrolled in a nursing program in 2006. I started my career as a registered nurse and worked in cardiology for about 6 years. I wanted to do more for my patients and my zeal for learning led me to complete the nurse practitioner program from Widener University in 2015. My interest in cardiology continued to grow and I did majority of my clinical orientations in cardiology. I have been working as a nurse practitioner in cardiology since 2015 and have been working with WellSpan Cardiology since May 2017. I enjoy learning and working with the cardiology physicians and other staff members.
