Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I wanted a career of service to others. Nursing requires a unique combination of knowledge and skills along with empathy and compassion. It is a career that requires the nurse to continue with lifelong learning. It is a privilege to be able to help others through difficult healthcare issues. Nursing is one of the most trusted professions, and I strive to earn that trust with every one of my patients. What I want my patients to know about me: I strive to give each and every patient excellent care to ensure the best possible outcomes with their procedure and health care.
