Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I attended nursing school after graduating from high school with the goal of helping other people. After I overcame my fear of blood and needles, I gained experience working in critical care, emergency care, and trauma as a registered nurse for eight years. Following graduation with my master's degree in Nursing and passing my National Nurse Practitioner certification, I started working in family medicine. I am able to help other people each day with my career as a nurse practitioner and I can't imagine doing any other kind of work. What I want my patients to know about me: My husband and I have four children. Three daughters and one son. I am a Lancaster county native.
