Board-certified nurse practitioner Joey Beardsley, DNP, FNP, specializes in cardiology. With years of experience working in urgent, emergent and cardiac care settings, he’s dedicated to helping people achieve healthier hearts. “I find joy in helping patients restore and improve their quality of life,” he says. For the first eight years of his career, Joey worked as a nurse in multiple roles at Adventist Health Portland. During that time, he assisted with many types of cardiac procedures and discovered a growing fascination with the field of cardiovascular medicine. “I developed a passion for caring for this patient population and decided to return to school and advance my degree,” he shares.
