Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area, Laura Franklin is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with more than 15 years of experience, with the past decade of her professional career spent on the Southern Oregon coast. Laura started out in family practice and branched out to specialize in pain management. She also has a passion for hospice and palliative care. “Family practice gives you the best of all worlds,” Laura says. “You’re able to develop relationships with your patients and their families to provide the best possible outcome.” Laura truly believes that education is a key component in helping patients understand their health and to improve their healthcare outcomes.
