Kayla Frye, APRN-CNP, FNP, specializes in women’s health. “My degree is in family practice; however, my background is primarily in women’s health as a labor and delivery/post-partum nurse,” Kayla said. “For the last five years, I’ve had the privilege of taking care of women in their most vulnerable state and that has definitely impacted my decision when choosing this specialty.” Kayla began her career in health care as a nursing assistant while she was finishing up her high school education. She said, “I realized at that time that I have a true passion for taking care of people and knew this is the path I wanted to pursue.”
