My philosophy is to treat my patients how I would want my family to be treated,” Heidi said. Heidi’s inspiration to pursue nursing school came at a unique time in her life. “A family friend that was undergoing cancer treatment gave me words of encouragement that I would be a good nurse. I followed her advice and went to nursing school and found it was my calling,” she said.
