Melissa Kingma, MSN, APRN, NP, is a nurse practitioner in the Division of Neonatology at Cincinnati Children's. She specializes in caring for infants with bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) and those requiring long-term mechanical ventilation. Melissa believes in empowering families and supporting their decision-making in the NICU. Inspired by her mother, a NICU nurse, she is dedicated to family-centered care and maximizing developmental outcomes for critically ill infants. In her free time, she enjoys water activities with her family.
