Lisa Ovesen, MSN, APRN, FNP

About

As a former trauma nurse in an intensive care unit, Lisa was recruited to work in the hospital's oncology department for procedures. It was during this time that Lisa discovered a passion for caring for medical oncology and hematology patients. She was especially drawn to direct patient care after seeing family members and friends who battled cancer. Lisa's areas of special interest include hematology, holistic therapies, and supportive care. Lisa is also a lead advanced practice provider for the OHC Supportive Care Program. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening, tending her small flock of chickens, Girl Scouts, and spending time with family and a close-knit group of friends she has had for many years.
