Sometimes things happen for a reason. I enjoyed biology classes in high school, but never imagined myself as a nurse or nurse practitioner while I was growing up. But it has been a rewarding path, and I love what I do. \n Every one of us in healthcare should put patients at the center of all we do. That's my philosophy, and patients appreciate it. They find I always listen to their concerns and work with them to address their needs. I enjoy variety in medicine and have found I get a lot of satisfaction from caring for patients who have diabetes. \n It's always an honor to be recognized for my work.
