As a nurse practitioner, Julie Bogguss prioritizes patient education, active listening and shared decision-making with patients and families. She believes parents know their children best, and wants to empower them to make good decisions for their families. Julie is a certified asthma educator and passionate about helping patients with asthma thrive and not be limited by the condition. An avid reader, Julie supports literacy professionally and personally. She is the steward of a Little Free Library at her church, and is a medical champion for Reach Out and Read, a national program where children receive free books during pediatric visits.
