Joana Lukasik is an experienced family nurse practitioner, caring for acute care patients of all ages as well as working as a hospitalist with internal medicine patients. Prior to obtaining her NP degree, she worked at UNC Pediatrics Hospital, UNC Emergency Department, Wake Forest Medical Center, and NHRMC, providing care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics. With her vast experience, she aims to provide a comprehensive and caring approach to the patients who she serves. Joana is an LGBTQ-friendly provider. Joana works with patients at Wilmington Health Family Medicine's Shipyard office.
