Central Carolina Lactation Consultant is owned and operated by Jana Shoptaw RN, BSN, IBCLC. IBCLC is the highest level of certification providing lactation care. She has over 20 years of maternal -child experience with 6 years as an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Since 2019 she has been providing expert care to breastfeeding moms in the privacy of your own home. She provides breastfeeding assistance and education to meet your parenting goals. Her practice is supported by evidence-based research. She normally has availability within 24-48 hours to serve the Randlema/Asheboro and surrounding area. She currently doesn't except insurance but will provide you with a super bill and support for possible reimburement.
