I chose nursing as my profession because it combines my love of science and learning with my natural inclination to care for others. I enjoy the problem-solving aspect of medicine along with getting to be of service. After nursing school, I knew I wanted to continue my education, and I went on to become a nurse practitioner. \n Since working as a pediatric nurse practitioner since 2015, I know the importance of listening to parents' concerns. They truly know their child best.
