I had an affinity to healthcare from an early age. As a child, we frequently visited India where I was able to see the global health disparities. I knew I wanted to become something to be able to provide care to underserved populations and improve access to healthcare for all. I approach patient care in a holistic manner. I enjoy getting to know my patients and their family members during their time in the hospital. This relationship allows the development of a trusting rapport. Knowing patients at this level has only been advantageous in my medical care towards them. I am a big proponent of patient education and spend a lot of time at the bedside educating my patients.
