Shannon O’Meara is a family nurse practitioner. She received her Master of Science in nursing, majoring in family nurse practitioner, at the State University of New York Institute of Technology in Utica, New York. Shannon began her nursing studies at the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies in Coral Gables, Florida, earning her Bachelor of Science in nursing. She also completed a bachelor’s degree in biology from the State University of New York at Albany in Albany, New York. Shannon completed her training in family medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, women’s health, and pediatric medicine.
